Morris interested in TN.

Posted: Nov 27, 2012 8:58 PM

Believe it or not. Which I'm more leaning to not. Morris is considering TN. Just a large IPTAY donor reporting this. Guess when you have a big investment into the program you may or may not have more insider information than most lol. Please dispell this rumor please!

If Morris is interested in NC State

He'll take the job at Tennessee if offered.

Is there anything noted that he has stated he is interested in NC state?

Nothing substantiated. All rumors at this point.***

Wow just wow! You know if he goes... who in there right mind comes to coach under a wide receiver's coach who also happens to be the head coach. I'd like to say wait this out. but I see another 5 years of being elite in the ACC but never being a NC again. Oh bummer!

Also hearing NC State interested in Franklin fro Vandy

Posted: Nov 27, 2012 9:20 PM

Franklin has not said anything yet.

I think Franklin is NC State's top choice right now.

Nc state press conference pretty much ruled out Franklin

They wanted him, but he is making 3 mill at vandy and talked like he was happy at Vandy

Considering they want someone with Head Coaching experience, you can cross his name off the list.

They did say this publicly. Dooley was an assistant

So I guess they feel like they need someone more experienced this time around.

I'm guessing Petrino.

Morris may consider going to UT but I doubt that UT is seriously considering Morris. They just finished a 3 year stint of good offense without crappy defense in the SEC.. did not work out too well for them.

All I've heard on sports radio is that UT is in "lock-down" mode and NO ONE has a clue what is going on. Not a peep! No John Gruden, no Chad Morris, notta... Whoever UT hires, I doubt very seriously, they'll go the experimental route. They want to get this one right, and I can't blame them. I hope they find their coach.

Morris might be interested in Tenn. but.....

Posted: Nov 27, 2012 9:44 PM

it doesnt mean they are interested in him. Tenn. has went the inexperienced route the last two coaches and that got them 3 straight losing seasons and 4 years of probation. They are going to go experienced this time around. Also if Chad leaves Clemson to become the OC at Clemson he owes us his annual salary for the remaining years on his contract. So I dont think he is going anywhere.

Become the OC at Tenn.***
