Military Appreciation Day!

This Saturday is very exciting. It is essentially the culmination of an 8 month period that saw me deployed for 7, and the first game that my 5 year old daughter will attend. While Mom is a Tarheel fan, Dad has raised the girl in the ways of the Tiger, and Saturday as we descend on midfield and she hears the roar of the crowd during the Veteran's Salute I believe she will be forever a Tiger. I cannot wait to take part in the festivities, and wish to express a heartfelt thanks to those at Clemson that make this possible. Hope to CU all there and pump up the Valley and crush the Hokies just like last year.

Thanks for your service. By the way - tell Daniel Rodriguez not to salute the vets in the crowd after he scores his first TD.... there is a dud ref who will toss a hanky when that happens.
