When they lose to a lower ranked team in the acccg, they will likely drop out of the top 4. Had they been ranked lower and lost to us as a higher seed, they would likely make it. Dummies.

based on the results of this week's games. We have a road game against a ranked opponent with a winning record. Miami is playing a team with a losing record.

The rankings were done this way to get Allbarn and Bammer in the final 4. They’re already prepping for an Allbarn win.

It has nothing to do with the U. And everything to do with keeping bammer in.

Uh... not really. If Miami is 2nd when we play them in the ACC Championship game, and we win, then they have a better shot at grabbing the 4th spot than if they were 3rd. To be honest, I think the only reason they moved them ahead of us was to encourage the scenario of 2 teams from one conference both getting in. Last week Kirby Hocutt said the main reason Clemson was ahead of Miami was because Canes hadn't beaten a winning team on the road...that's still true. We won by 58 (largest margin of victory out of all games last week) and Miami was down by 14 to unranked Virginia twice (14-0, 28-14).
