Man ACC refs were trying to give that game back to N.C.State

Still up by 11, BC guards would drive the paint, get knocked down with no foul calls, change possessions, then State would get a 2-3 pointer AND a foul call for 3-4 point plays. That's how State got back in it late. B.C. should have won that game by 10.

Sometimes I think the ACC refs (like some other conferences) protect their local (N.C.) teams and Tournament teams, then try and keep the teams close at the end for extra March Madness and dramatic effect. It's like a pyramid scheme: the higher the team in the rankings (or brand on the bubble), the better calls they will get down the stretch to keep them in the game.

they're just unbearably incompetent and to make matters worse, it has been that way for years and, save for a few insignificant and meaningless suspensions, the league does absolutely nothing about it.
