Mac vs Shepard

i wasn't looking for this but came across it this morning. most of our players are stand up men, they speak their minds but do so with dignity and this supposed disrespect by Mac towards Shepard burns me even more now that i know that the OU homer from Bleacher Report didn't report Mac's full comment about Shepard...
"Asked his thoughts on Shepard, Alexander said, “He’s number three, he’s 5-foot-10 and he plays for OU. There’s nothing for me to say. He plays for OU.”
What about his strengths and weaknesses and how much has Alexander studied him?
“I don’t think that matters right now. You have to wait until the game is played when we do what we do. This is a game of performance. I’m not going to sit here and sell you a dream. I could come out here and say some crazy stuff, but for what? You have to go out and perform.”
Even with his utmost confidence, Mac measured himself and spoke like the humbly confident man that he is. i am even more proud of him now than i have ever been because a man's best measure is seen in his actions rather his words...

To your film study question, the answer is a lot. Although to be honest Mac has been playing in the slot a lot with tank going deep. But who knows.
Anyways, my roommate is a DB and I've asked him about mac. He said before the season started, Mac had watched film for every receiver on every team on the schedule. He also gets to practice an hour and a half (4:30am vs 6am) to watch film. Dude is dedicated.

that wasn't me asking the question about film study. the whole thing in the middle is taken from the full interview and is the reporter's follow up question to Mac after Mac didn't take the bait to talk a little trash. yeah, dude has been a film study beast since he got to campus. the man has a plan and is being sure that his preparation meets his opportunity in the NFL...
