Hope they don’t come out of the long layoff sluggish.
If they can avoid one of their trademark scoring droughts I think they can beat the fighting pergolas

and beat them at it. Could be 13 - 11 at the half. They looked good against ND. I didn't see all the Gonzaga game, but it seemed like it got away from them because Gonzaga can score so many ways that they took away the UVA win-with-defense game. It was almost like college football, a good offense beating a good defense, which, I would love to see bball move in that direction. Been stuck in Bobby Knight, 50-points-a-night, land too long, I think. 'Member Loyola-Marymount averaging 100 pts/game? Fun.
Maybe you have to choose now: one-and-dones or bobbyball.
Anyway, UVAs game is our game too, and we have good players. We're at home, so here's hoping.
