The right ingredients can be difficult to find, but the gist of it is you take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, soak it in melted butter, then deep fry until golden brown, served over a bed of jasmine rice.

chicken wangs
Rub wings in dis: 1 part salt, 1 part black pepper, 1 part ground cayenne, 1 part paprika, 1 part garlic powder, 1 part brown sugar ('ve had them before without the brown sugar and it's almost too savory).
Bake 365* for 35 minutes Flip and bake for 15-20 more minutes
Grill Only keep 2 burners on. Grill wings on opposite side. About 350 or 400...not too hot. Baste in your favorite buffalo wang sauce. Let 'em get crispy.
I like mine a little more done than most, but you don't have to grill them long...it's just to baste:

Didn't work out like I planned. Also cooked like 300 of them so that was my first mistake.

Low and slow in the oven is the key.
I used to like smoked wings, but I'd rather use my own dry rub and bake them at home and then baste them on the grill these days.

Homemade Pizza.
it really is facemeltingly good.
My dad once told the whole table that it was better than Bee Jay's.
It was quite the compliment.
and then after a few weird looks, he clarified that BJ's is a pizza place down the street from his office. I'll take it tho.

Here's what I did last night.
Mar 23, 2018, 9:00 AM
|
|
A coupla Prime filets and top sirloin cuts with asparagus (butter, lemon, dill, garlic), mushrooms (smoked olive oil and red wine vinegar), and smashed potatoes (boiled, then smashed and fried with lemon/oregano/garlic/olive oil whisked on top).
Blackened, 124 degrees all the way through:
And took a first pour of the fledgling infinity bottle. It's supposed to get muddy and confusing from time to time after new additions, but with these four whiskies currently, it's a pretty dang good pour. I'd pay more than a coupla bucks for a full bottle of it.
Anyway, what was your question?

it quite so charred so I have to put some on the top rack for her. That looks like a Greenr house meal, but you did it MUCH better than I would. Nice, VERY Nice.

Smart to label the infinity bottle like that.

I have several bottles on the bar that have gotten down to the point that I need to go ahead start mine, and I even have the bottle set aside.

Do you suppose a small barrel would be good for this?
Mar 23, 2018, 11:11 AM

Sharkgril got me one for Christmas, but it isn't exactly right. It has a liner in it so the wood won't impart flavors. I suppose some aromatics can go in to impart flavor. Just not sure what to do with it.

A wood barrel with a liner?

You've basically defeated the entire point of a barrel. A glass jug would have been cheaper.

it. She didn't realize what was going on with it so now I'm trying to find some use for it.
Do you suppose it would work as one of these infinity bottle things?

steak, rice, and white pepper gravy. The recipe is pretty easy, only three steps:
-Get wife -Tell wife you want chicken-fried steak, rice, and white pepper gravy -Fill plate when wife is done making chicken-fried steak, rice, and white pepper gravy for you
