Littlejohn ticket office was poorly managed tonight

500 person line was being serviced by one ticket seller, who had help from a walkie talkie person at times standing behind them doing nothing.

actually decided to show up to a basketball game for once. Most of our non-conference games, especially over the Christmas break, are even more pathetically attended than usual. The ticket office didn't anticipate the demand tonight, nor did they have reason to.

so probably less than a skeleton crew on hand to manage. Everybody of note in AD is in Phoenix.
Why didn't people buy online?

they had 4 skeleton people sitting at the will call windows where there were no lines, hence my management point. Hopefully they will figure it out soon. It was amazing to see that many people wanting in LJ. Usually break games are ghost towns. I expected top buy tickets off someone who wanted to sell their extra tickets, but there were so many walk ups and no shows tonight.

And that is why fans will not ever consistently show. If you don't take yourself seriously as a program fans will take the same mindset and just stay home.

Our fans are used to Clemson basketball sucking, where games were poorly attended and tickets were always plentiful. We finally have addressed our antiquated facility issues, BB is getting better talent, and we are starting to get better results on the court. Isn't this what we wanted? Scarcity of tickets is the result of a better program. Or....would rather still LJ be a dump, half the seats are empty, and we are losing to subpar teams by 10 points.

At the last minute on Tuesday we decided to drive from Tennessee and bring our 8yo grandson to the game. Ticket offices were closed until Jan 3. so we decided to buy our tickets at gate which opened at 5:30. There was 1 man at the Sales window doing the best he could. There were 4 women managing 2 Will Call windows inside. They had about 4-5 will call orders which they handled quicky and then continued their chi chat while ignoring the long line at the Sales Window. After standing in line for 40 minutes we finally got tickets from the single man who was working the only Sales window. It just seemed like the 4 women didn't care about helping their co-worker while CUSTOMERS stood in line. Anyone with any common sense could have seen the obvious problem and helped their co-worker. Buying online in advance would have resulted in an even longer wait since no one ever showed up to fully man the outside Will Call window. Big management and teamwork improvement opportunity. New Littlejohn Coliseum is awesome especially since I witnessed the construction of the first Littlejohn!
