Little old Clemson

A week ago I was talking to a UF/FSU alum about little old Clemson winning. He was confused why I said little. Most of the blue bloods are 40000+ enrollment. I think we are smallest school since Miami to win. Not sure how big USC is. Those are both in major metropolises. It is a rare and special thing that happened.

I love when Dabo refers to us as little ole Clemson, it's part of our mystique. I also love when the Gamecocks say half the people in America don't even know what state we are in.

This has little to do with the number of students, but Clemson is located in the smallest city in which one of the 65 power five schools is located.

Clemson was by far the smallest school in the 2016 playoffs. Ohio State had over double the enrollment. 31-0!

You are either saying we are a l;little school which we are not. Or your are saying I am so special that I can make "Little ol Clemson" a winner. We have been a winner with a rich tradition from the very beginning of our founding. Just look at who our early coach was. Nothing about Clemson University is little ol.
