I really try. That Let It Roll crap just dampened my enthusiasm quite a bit. Still appreciate their talent, just not a mega fan.

Little Feat would have been done in 1979. George didn't think that Bill Payne or Paul Barrere were the best direction for the band as far as songwriting, and that's one of the reasons he left to pursue his solo career. The Lowell George era of the band made fantastic music...and like a hundred other bands that continued on without their founding visionary, the remaining members reformed to become a far more radio-friendly pop version of the original. Their post-Lowell George efforts aren't bad by any stretch, but it's doubtful that body of work will ever be considered classic.
