Leggett and Hopper probably gone too.

Jun 25, 2015, 10:54 AM

This means we can add 4-5 more players for our class this year. Should be a top ten class now.

### it Leggett!!!! Hopper would have had a good season too.

Richard, Cain, and Ray Ray! I'm not worried.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yep it appears so

Jun 25, 2015, 10:58 AM

Oh well, next man up.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:00 AM

What's up with Leggett? Last I heard, he was getting out of the dog house...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't see Hopper as a loss at all.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:07 AM

Not sure how I feel about Legget.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Only one that really might hurt is Battle

Jun 25, 2015, 11:09 AM

But only if Hyatt gets hurt.

I agree on part of that...

Jun 25, 2015, 11:12 AM

I agree that Battle is a huge loss, but I am not sold that Hyatt is near ready. I hope you are correct.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Im with you....

Jun 25, 2015, 11:17 AM

its so tough for a Freshman OL to start and be effective, especially at LT. At least Hyatt was an early enrollee with 8 months of weight training and spring ball. Still tough. I think Laremy Tunsil (5 star OT) at Ole Miss started as a true freshman at LT. Im not sure how good he was that year though.....hes a preseason AA now.

See Cam Robinson last year.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:12 AM [ in reply to Only one that really might hurt is Battle ]

huge hit on our OL depth though. One of the positives for our offensive line this year was finally we were going to have SOME form of depth. Losing battle hurts the quality & quantity of our offensive line.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Neither lived up to the hype IMO

Jun 25, 2015, 11:09 AM [ in reply to I don't see Hopper as a loss at all. ]

Not a big loss, we have better

Re: Leggett and Hopper probably gone too.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:15 AM

Geez are you serious? Also is this because of depth/attitude problems?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Leggett and Hopper probably gone too.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:18 AM

Why do you say that?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Can you Please explain why they are gone too ?

Jun 25, 2015, 11:35 AM

I am getting shell shocked by all of these players getting into trouble!! Why the outbreak of problems? Is there a Lamecock zombie in Clemson biting our players and infecting them with a USCjr virus?

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Only real loss is Battle and I'm iffy on that to be honest

Jun 25, 2015, 11:36 AM

If Hyatt is all that I've heard he is then Battle was going to be n the bench sooner rather then ater anyway.

We have too many talented players at WR as it is with Thompson coming off a RS and adding Cain and McCloud. Unless Hopper was super impressue this summer he was going to the bench as well.

Leggett still can't be serious enough to use his talent and with Milan Richards, Garrett Williams and Connon smith we have more then enough talent to at least match his production if not surpass it.

Lakip hurts because we have no kicking game now and that's a huge thing. We need Alex spence and the boys to really step it up this year. We could easily lose a close game to ND, FSU, GT etc because of punting, kick offs, and FGs

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Solid take.

Jun 25, 2015, 11:39 AM

I hate our depth now at LT.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

"We establish no religion in this country, we mandate no belief. Nor will we ever. Church and state are, and must remain, separate." ~Ronald Reagan

We have no depth at LT right now

Jun 25, 2015, 11:48 AM

Hyatt is the starter. If he has a freshmen break down, unlikely, or gets hurt then we're up the creek without a paddle. Fruhmorgen can pay either OT position so if worse comes to worse we can move him to LT if Hyatt goes down though he's more of a RT. We have some pieces to move around but they will be OGs playing OT and despite getting away with that the past few years with Brandon Thomas and Kalon davis you can't put a OG at the LT position and expect to keep your QB upright.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

TW...I've totally missed any scoop on Leggett/Hopper...

Jun 25, 2015, 11:52 AM

grades?

prepared for things like this.....they know these kids FAR better than we do and know which ones are apt to put them in the position to make the tough call.

During spring Leggett was talking about

Jun 25, 2015, 12:30 PM

This is probably his last year and he's basically a senior. Basically implying that he's going to the nfl draft after this season... I don't think he gets it. Seems like a headcase to me. Hopper, this is long overdue.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Leggett and Hopper probably gone too.

Jun 25, 2015, 12:36 PM

I went to both of there twitter pages and hopper said he's ready for the season to start and leggett welcomed the new freshman telling them they made a great decision to come to Clemson. I would to loose them kids.
