ACC
• The ACC has won the most national titles of any conference (six) in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball since 2015. The next closest is the SEC with four. The ACC is the only conference to win each of the four titles over that stretch.

• In addition, the ACC's six major national titles have come from five different programs – Clemson football (2016, 2018), Notre Dame women’s basketball (2018), North Carolina men’s basketball (2017), Duke men’s basketball (2015), Virginia baseball (2015).

• The ACC has won more football national titles than any other conference since 2013 (three of the last six) and more men’s basketball national championships than any other league since 2015 (two of the last four).

• In the fall standings of the Learfield Directors’ Cup, the ACC leads all conferences with four teams in the top 10, and eight teams in the top 20. Wake Forest leads the way at No. 6, followed by No. 7 Duke, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 10 NC State, No. 14 Virginia, No. 15 North Carolina, No. 17 Florida State and No. 19 Syracuse.

Men’s Basketball
• The ACC’s six ranked teams in this week’s AP poll ties for the most of any conference. No. 2 Duke has been ranked in 423 of the last 426 polls and is third nationally with 805 all-time rankings. No. 8 North Carolina has been ranked 910 times, more than any other school in college basketball history.

• The ACC has had at least one team ranked in the AP poll for 1,007 consecutive weeks dating back to December 19, 1962 (when it was a top-10 only poll).

• A nation’s best five ACC players – Duke’s RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson, Virginia’s Kyle Guy and De’Andre Hunter, and Virginia Tech’s Nickeil Alexander-Walker – have been named to the John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 Watch List.

• Three from the ACC earned spots on the Oscar Robertson Trophy Final Midseason Watch List – freshmen RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson of Duke are joined by DeAndre Hunter of Virginia … The ACC’s three representatives on 12-player list ties for most among all conferences.
• Saturday’s game featuring No. 2 Duke at No. 3 Virginia will be the 17th game involving two ACC teams ranked in the AP’s Top 3 and the first such contest since No. 2 Duke won at No. 3 UNC 89-78 on Feb. 6, 2008.

Women's Basketball
• The ACC enters the week with the No. 1 RPI in the nation. Nine ACC teams are in the top 50, the most of any league, through games played on Jan. 27. There are six teams in the Top 25 - Notre Dame (1), Louisville (3), NC State (9), Syracuse (10), North Carolina (22) and Florida State (23).

• Six ACC teams are ranked in both the AP and USA Today/Coaches polls, the most of any league, with three teams in the top nine. Louisville leads the league at No. 2 in both polls, followed by No. 4/4 Notre Dame, No. 9/9 NC State, No. 15/14 Syracuse, No. 24/19 Florida State and No. 25/25 Miami.

• In Charlie Creme’s latest Bracketology (Feb. 4), eight ACC teams are predicted to earn bids to the 2019 NCAA Championship – Notre Dame and Florida State in Chicago, Syracuse and Clemson in Portland, Louisville and Miami in Albany and NC State and North Carolina in Greensboro.

Baseball
• Louisville has been chosen as the ACC preseason favorite by the league’s head coaches. The Cardinals are also a narrow choice over two-time defending ACC champion Florida State in the Atlantic Division, while North Carolina has been picked to repeat as the ACC Coastal Division winner.

• Nine ACC baseball teams have been ranked in at least one national preseason poll, including five in the USA Today Coaches rankings – No. 6 North Carolina, No. 8 Louisville, No. 11 Florida State, No. 19 Clemson and No. 23 NC State.

• Eight ACC teams are ranked among the top 40 of the NCBWA preseason poll, led by No. 7 North Carolina, No. 9 Louisville and No. 10 Florida State. Clemson holds the No. 17 spot, followed by No. 25 Duke, No. 28 Wake Forest, No. 30 NC State and No. 31 Georgia Tech.

• The ACC will begin the 2019 season having placed at least one team in the College World Series for 13 consecutive years and at least six teams in the NCAA Tournament each of the past 15 years.

Men's Lacrosse
• All five ACC men’s lacrosse teams are ranked in the USILA Coaches Preseason Top 20 poll. Duke is No. 2, followed by No. 6 Virginia, No. 10 Notre Dame, No. 11 Syracuse and No. 13 North Carolina. The ACC is the only conference with all of its schools in the top 20.

• All five ACC men's lacrosse teams are ranked in the Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook Preseason Poll, led by No. 2 Duke. The Blue Devils are followed by No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 8 Virginia, No. 11 Syracuse and No. 16 North Carolina. The ACC is tied for the most teams in the top 25 among all conferences.

Women's Lacrosse
• An NCAA-best seven ACC women's lacrosse teams are ranked in the Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook Preseason Poll, led by No. 1 Boston College. The Eagles are followed by No. 3 North Carolina, No. 10 Virginia Tech, No. 12 Syracuse, No. 14 Virginia, No. 20 Duke and No. 22 Notre Dame.

• Eleven ACC women's lacrosse players have been named to the Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook Preseason All-America Team, highlighted by five first-team selections – Boston College attackers Sam Apuzzo and Kenzie Kent, midfielder Dempsey Arsenault and defender Elizabeth Miller, and North Carolina attacker Katie Hoeg. The ACC's 11 Face-off Yearbook Preseason All-Americans are the most of any league.

Softball
• Defending national champion Florida State is ranked No. 1 in the NFCA Preseason Poll, Softball America Preseason Poll and Fastpitch News Poll.

• Two ACC student-athletes made the 2019 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List – FSU pitcher Meghan King and infielder Sydney Sherrill.

• The Seminoles were picked as the ACC preseason favorite by the league's head coaches. Notre Dame
was picked second, followed by Pitt, Louisville and Duke in the top five. Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Boston College, Virginia Tech, NC State and Virginia rounded out the voting.

• Fifteen ACC student-athletes were named to the first-ever Preseason All-ACC Softball Team. FSU led all schools with five selections, followed by Louisville, North Carolina and Syracuse with two each. Duke, Notre Dame, Pitt and Virginia Tech each had one honoree.

Swimming & Diving
• Seven ACC men’s squads are ranked in the latest CSCAA Poll – the most of any conference – including No. 5 NC State, No. 8 Louisville, No. 14 Virginia, No. 19 Georgia Tech, No. 21 Virginia Tech, No. 22 Florida State and No. 23 Notre Dame.

• Five ACC women’s teams are ranked in the most recent CSCAA Poll, including No. 5 Virginia, No. 6 NC State, No. 16 Louisville, No. 19 Notre Dame and No. 21 Duke.

Track and Field
• Florida State men remain No. 2 in the most recent USTFCCCA indoor rankings. The Seminole women lead a strong ACC contingent at No. 5, followed by No. 24 Georgia Tech, No. 26 Miami and No. 27 Virginia Tech.

• Thirteen ACC student-athletes – seven men and six women – hold times are marks that currently rank among the nation’s top five in NCAA Division I. The group includes NC State junior Elly Henes, who ranks No. 1 in the women’s 3,000 meters after her converted time of 9:01.72 at last weekend’s Camel City Elite meet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Tennis
• Seven ACC women's teams are ranked in the most recent Oracle/ITA Rankings, tied for the most nationally, including No. 3 North Carolina, No. 4 Duke, No. 10 Syracuse, No. 14 NC State, No. 17 Miami, No. 19 Virginia and No. 20 Florida State.

• Six ACC men's squads are ranked in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings, tied for the most in the nation, including reigning national champion and No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 6 North Carolina, No. 12 Virginia, No. 13 Notre Dame, No. 22 Florida State and No. 25 NC State.

Wrestling
• Five ACC teams are ranked in the NWCA Coaches Poll, including No. 8 NC State, No. 11 Virginia Tech, No. 15 North Carolina, No. 16 Pitt and No. 23 Virginia. The Wolfpack, under seventh-year head coach Pat Popolizio, has been ranked among the nation’s top 10 in 54 consecutive polls.

• NC State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina are off to 2-0 starts in ACC matches.
