LSU is -13 with Oklahoma ?

That is a large opening line . I know that they are playing a 1 loss B12 team , and they should have a larger crowd in the Atlanta Dome or whatever , but almost two TDs favorite ? I don't have any confidence in that line at all , and I expect that Oklahoma will not just compete but head in there expecting to win. Burrow and LSU have no playoff experience . Their staff has none that I am aware of . Conversely , Oklahoma has a QB with semifinal and championship experience , their coach and a lot of their players are experienced on that scene … and they are going to lock onto being made such a huge dog in this game . LSU beat Georgia handily , kudos . Georgia couldn't stay unbeaten because a 4-8 South Carolina team came into their house and took that away . In my estimation Georgia was overrated , and I am beginning to suspect that Kirby Smart is just a retread Richt with similar recruiting skill . Dud just can't seem to get it done when they have to get it done .
I will say that I expect LSU to win and I hope they do because that is who I want to beat in New Orleans , however I think that Lincoln Riley will put up big points on LSU and we should expect a shootout .

I wouldn't touch -13 . Oklahoma is far better offensively than any team not named Alabama that LSU will have faced this season . Tide put up what , 42 ? Gonna be interesting .

Hurts will be playing with something to prove as well , and I think LSU has a weak defense despite what they were able to do vs Georgia in the SEC CG .

Per ESPN LSU is hot shlt right now. Coach O says anybody anytime bla bla bla, their players doing alot of talking. ESPN making sure they get the easiest path to the championship game. Only one Tiger will be left standing.

Don't know about that. Legitimately one of the three best teams, imho

I don't argue they're top 3 , but 3 might be where I'd put them at the moment . Maybe they move up to #2 if they can beat Oklahoma

LSU will use and abuse OU's defense. It will be so ugly you better hide the women and children. Burrow threw for 350 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs against UGA's defense. He will improve upon that.
LSU's defense is hitting stride and Jalen Hurts will find it a lot harder to find open receivers.
If LSU wins the TO margin, they will outscore OU by at least 28 points.
If I was a betting person, taking LSU and the points would be an easy decision.

I don’t gamble but if I did I would pick LSU.

Hurts is a turnover machine at times and that OU defense is going to get torched.

LSU probably covers unless the Sooners can either find a way to keep Burrow on the sidelines, or score a touchdown or two from turnovers or special teams. To make a game of it, the Sooners can't turn the ball over, and must have a sizeable advantage in time of possession.

All due respect, they are a formidable offense against a fairly weak OU defense. They’re touted as “improved” this year but that’s because they are typically a dumpster fire.
OU’s offense is an enigma - at times they score at will with wide open receivers and look unstoppable - then, they inexplicably get out of rhythm and go on droughts. One of the streakiest offenses you’ll see. Reminds me a bit of our O in the Sammy Watkins days.
