to Mickey and at the same time watching a replay of the 1980 Georgia vs. Florida...Wait, let me do this correctly ...Georgia versus Florida game. I am sick of even national broadcasters who use the word verse instead of the proper word versus. Anyway, first thoughts are..you do not know the score or time left in the game until either the announcer mentions it or the show the scoreboard. And even when they do show the scoreboard, the time outs remaining is not shown. Second, the olinemen and dlinemen sure look skinny.Wow!! The Clemson vs. North Carolina score just popped up...10-8 Final ( I still remember the taste of that hamburger my fiance cooked for me that day) Third, Herschel has over 40 carries, maybe close to 50. Fourth, when a receiver catches a pass, and I say CATCHES, and is immediately hit and the ball pops loose...IT IS STILL A FUMBLE..none of this ..did he make a football move crap. No sir, everyone in the stadium knew what a catch was or was not back then..And fifth, you could flat Tee Off on people!

Since you didn't say one way or the other how the hamburger tasted, I'll assume it was good enough to carry on through with the nuptials to make Mrs. Spud yours. Sounds petty I know, but mess my hamburger up and I can be less than forgiving.

Yes, the permanent scoreboard on the screen has definitely been an improvement to tv broadcasts, and the first down line. I remember not being a huge fan of either when they first came out for some reason.
