Well, this past saturday I was in Columbia to tailgate with some friends. I know, I know...why wasn't I at the Clemson game? Well, women drag you strange places sometimes. To the point.
Haven't been to Columbia for a game since 2009 ish? Place hasn't changed much. When coming in about 3 blocks from the stadium there is a beer stand set up with girls from Platinum Plus selling beer and handing out free passes for the club. Then, we get to the Carolina Walk appartments (think thats what they are called) and I get graced with this doozie of a sign.

Also, 41 arrests that night. WOW. I'm sure a lot of this has probably been posted but I had to share.

trash strewn, dirty, with a hand painted, unimaginative attempt at "juvenile comedy" sign hung on the dingy balcony of a 3rd story apartment.
Nothing but an empty, post-drunk portrait void of intellect and humor.

Thats how I saw it. I knew a lot of people would be all for the strippers. I just thought that was not a very good picture to give people entering. Also, that sign is directly across from the stadium.

over the last few years mainly because of a business contact who usually invites me and I feel obligated to go.
After the last time last year against Florida I think.... I swore I'd never go again. I really can't find the appropriate words, it's just dirty, let me put it that way.
There is nothing pretty about Cootlumbia and there is nothing nice about the stadium and area it is in. Why anyone would want to go to school there is frankly beyond me.

I live down the road from the stadium off of Rosewood. I hate it. I had to go to the Citadel game last year. Sat on the 50 yard line in the first row. I could throw a rock and hit Spurrier in the head. Wish I had a rock that day.......

Crowd noise and your stadium and fans being #### have nothing to do with one another.
The fact that Gameday had to go all the way to the Horseshoe to find a nice location tells you all you need to know about your #### hole.
