There is no reason to go to the NIT and lose in the first round. Just be done with it.

Someone ask Coach Brownell a question about the chances of making the NIT in the postgame interview and said he does think one come our way but Tim Bourret say's he feels good about a invite based on the RPI of 67 and the non-conference record

continue to coach the NIT. Some of the younger players could use the postseason experience, even though we are likely to lose early.

We've got a good core of 3 players coming back next year, so absolutely let them play.

Well if that is your outlook then lets scrap the whole program, and once our football team loses again scrap that as well. Hell, lets just quit all sports because we may lose again.

I hate losing. We will lose in football again but I have faith that Dabo will not stand for it. He will do what it takes for us to be the best in the country. Same for Monte Lee in baseball! As for basketball, Brownell has had 7 years to right the ship. Can you say that the program is better? You are delusional if you think so. I like the man but he is a poor recruiter and end of game coach. If we make the NIT,do you actually believe that this team is going to make a real run? Fire Brownell and get started looking for better big time basketball coach.

No, I'd like to see the administration and the fans be serious about basketball and get a coach who can actually progress the program.
