I have to admit, I was a little put off with this young man leading up to today. He seemed somewhat aloof and snide to me as I watched and read updates. Then, tonight, I heard an interview with him as I drove home. Boy was I wrong... he was very well spoken, humble, and thakful for the opportunities presented him, and thrilled to be a Clemson Tiger. It really opened my eyes to my own "perceptions". Very few if any of us understand what these young men endure during this process, and so many, myself included, draw conclusions that are unfair and down right wrong! John, so glad you chose Clemson, welcome young man, cannot wait to see you succeed on and off the field! As far as Gary goes, God bless the young man, hope he lives up to all the hype and more... unless he plays us! As always, a great day to be a Clemson Tiger!
