Talk of App State beating the Tar Holes, and possibly beating the Coots, reminded me of the very first Clemson game I witnessed as a freshman in 1972. We were playing the Citadel, who had a pretty good QB by the name of Harry Lynch. We won the game 13-0, but he was hitting his receivers in the hands all game long. Luckily for us, they were doing their best Richard "Stone Hands" Caster impressions and dropping them all. We look much more impressive these days.
BTW, for those non New York Jets fans, Richard "Hands of Stone" Caster was a tight end for the Jets back in the 70's. They were so bad, he actually played for them for eight years, dropping passes all the while, and then went on to play five more years for other teams. *Sigh*
