I think he got out of shape in the offseason and has no interest in playing for SCAR anymore. He will go the way of Garcia.....superhero to super villain. Another kid needing leadership and going to the antithesis of a leader.
I would guess that many many athletes have them. I pitched an entire career of college baseball with a bone spur in my throwing elbow. I had an unrelated arm injury and they found in the xrays. Several doctors told me they are very common and most people never know they even have them. It's more of a hindrance than an injury. I still play and pitch in an adult league. It's a non-issue.
