It’s absolutely horrible hilarious how ONE 37 yard td drive

Where a qb completes 2 out routes to the boundary where the corners were playing off coverage (a pass a third grader can complete and a pass ZC completed many times last night), a wr screen, and a te pop pass where the te was the first read and came wide open (a 12 yard pass by the way) somehow makes a qb so much better than another qb. I mean, do you people really think if cooper or Israel or Cullen Harper or cole stoudt was in there for that drive the end result would have been different? That drive was a product of play calling and what the defense gave us, not amazing qb play.

That isn't what he said.
He is referring to the passes Johnson made last week in garbage time.

5th star and #1 recruit ranking. We haven't seen near enough to know if HJ is really better than Cooper at this point. One of the passes he completed against wake was really an ill advised throw and could have been a pick 6.

that pass was awesome, he threaded the needle and made it so only his guy could catch it.... thats what great QB's can do. everyone assumes he (HJ) did not know what he was doing, that pass looked like it was intentional... he puts it where his guys have an option after the catch...

Throw. But it was his first read and was covered. Won't always get away with it against better defenders. I don't believe for one second that if the coaches thought HJ gave us the best chance to win they wouldn't play him due to seniority

I understand your point. However, ZC was in the drive before against Wake and missed a couple throws. One throw to a wide open Cain down field. Not that I completely disagree with your point but just to provide a little balance. It wasn't just that HJ played well against Wake, it was also that ZC did not look as sharp. It is that juxtaposition that gives the full picture.

How many times did DW4 have a great drive, then struggle on the next one? Or Tom Brady? Every qb misses throws and has bad series in the span of a game. If ZC comes back out for that next drive instead of HJ the outcome would have been the same, because the defense gave us those easy completions that led to a td.

How? Think back to that Georgia game

Stoudt and DW were excellent in the first half. Both sucked in the second half. Senior v a true freshman coming off a broken collarbone on the road at Athens.
That criticism is based on what DW went on to do, not the circumstances of that lone game

that game, much less during that game, then I am not sure having a conversation with you is worth my time.

Based on the spring game I guess

because that's the only "game" any of us had seen him play. DW was 2-4 at Georgia with a great throw to Peake. That was the evidence from that game.
So just as I stated, we're looking back at that game after watching DW for three superb years, not in the context of that lone game

Watson played one drive in the second half. Made the correct read on third down by recognizing the open man but the receiver (that I believe transferred midseason and maybe before the next game) cut his route short.
