Is Watson good enough to turn Cleveland around?
Dec 19, 2016, 9:29 PM

If all goes according to plan over the next 2 games Watson will be back at the top of the big board and Cleveland might not be able to resist taking a guy with so much leadership. This has been the doomsday scenario for us Clemson fans but maybe Watson is so great that he could do to Cleveland what Peyton did to Indy? What are your thoughts?

Watson is not going #1 overall.

Let's not forget that Cleveland can still draft him with their second 1st round selection. Let's hope that doesn't happen though

I think he's good enough. But I also think the ship has sailed on him being in that top spot.

a 25 year old Tom Brady couldn't turn the Browns around. They are atrocious at every position. Will take 4 years to fix that mess, only if they draft correctly (highly unnlikely)

Doesn't matter how good any QB the Browns have -

their pass protection is not just horrid, it's downright criminal. They should forfeit their next two games so they don't ruin anyone else's career, and focus their draft and free agency on building their lines.

Cross your fingers and toes and hope Watson don't land in Cleveland.

To answer the question directly I say the answer is no. I work with a Browns fan that is really hoping they trade down and get as many picks this year as possible. I'd love to see DW4 in Houston. All they are missing is a QB...

He will go to the Giants or Steelers to be the heir to Eli or Big Ben.

Cleveland needs a ton of help. I would not put that much pressure on one man. They need help everywhere. Their lines of scrimmage needs rebuilding.

Unfortunately I am a Browns fan, but for Watson's sake, I hope he lands somewhere else. Would feel awful if we ruined his career before it even started.

Ideal situation would be to go to Packers

late in 1st round and play behind Rodgers for a few years like Rodgers did with Favre. Rodgers is 33.

important piece solved. If the drafted Watson they would be a playoff team by his 3rd or 4th year at worst.

One man...no matter how good....IS NOT going to turn a team that horrible around. DW4 is going to be a solid QB but the Browns need A LOT of help
