ESPN website shows they are not.

Cant have a losing season I believe

But I'm sure they'll get a pass just like UCLA did at 6-7 after the Pac 12 Champ Game last year.

I think GT is 6-5 and will be 6-6 with loss to UGA and has applied for a waiver to go to a bowl because if they lose this one an then to FLA st in the ACCCG they will be 6-7 they should get the waiver though

Said on tv that if GT beats FSU they would have to get a waiver to play in bowl game.

Other way around

Nov 24, 2012, 2:29 PM

If GT beats FSU they got to the Orange Bowl, no matter what. But if they lose they'd need a waiver (and would probably get it) form the NCAA to go to a bowl game at 6-7.

Meant if they lose to FSU.

I was curious because of the Presbyterian win.

Wasn't sure if the old rule was still in effect where every so often you could count that towards the number of six wins you need. Looks like the concensus is that GT will likely apply and get a waiver if they lose the ACCCG.
