on the way back to South Carolina. An older gentlemen at the table adjacent to us overhead our discussing that incident. He claimed to be a Conference USA official.

According to him, Battle will be suspended for at least the first half of the Wake game assuming the personal foul was for fighting which he defined as any attempt by a player to strike an opponent in a combative manner unrelated to football.

I'm not against him personally, but you can't settle disputes throwing punches even on the field. It makes Clemson look like thugs and hotheads. Now of course everyone messes up and we shouldn't over-react, but I would be in favor of Dabo adding 1/2 game and not bringing him to Wake at all.

We too deep to allow that behavior
