Even with the increase that the ACC will receive for adding Pitt and Syracuse, "FSU's cut of television revenue will still be far short of what schools in the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 and PAC-12 receive".

I believe that this is the most serious issue facing Clemson since the bruhaha over ACC admissions policy in 1970. I know some people want to downplay the importance of money in collegiate athletics success. And indeed, money is no guarantee of success in any endeavor, athletics and non-athletics. But money improves your chances of success in all endeavors. It is an advantage that no one turns down. That's a fact of life. As the adage goes: "It takes money to make money".
