Interesting (to me) rule I learned watching FSU game

I always assumed that no player may go out of bounds on their own and come back in and be the first to touch the ball for a catch, but actually the rule only applies to offensive players.

Otherwise Trevor's interception would've been waved off.

Yes...my guess is that TL didn’t see him since he was OOB...

And he made a good play to establish himself back in just in time for the pick.
Not the best idea to throw that one...but I see why he did if the guy was OOB when he decided to let it fly.
