Just don't understand judicial system in Lousiana

LSU QB Jennings, two teammates won't face charges, reinstated

It looks like Anthony Jennings, Dwayne Thomas and Maquedius Bain could soon make their way back on to the LSU roster. The three players were suspended indefinitely following an alleged burglary in June, but it was announced on Friday that no charges will be filed against the trio.

"The decision is based upon the request of the victim that no charges be filed and inconsistent and contradictory statements provided," said East Baton Rouge district attorney Hillar Moore. "Although the conduct of these students in this situation is unacceptable, it is not one, based on the facts that warrant prosecution, although their actions could have subjected them to such."

According to the police report, Jennings reported that he had a laptop and Playstation 4 stolen from him, as well as three pairs of shoes. At the time of their arrest, Thomas and Bain told police that the three players they were trying to retrieve the items that were stolen from Jennings from an apartment where they believed the items to be.

The alleged victim said that the LSU trio left the apartment with the Playstation and three pairs of shoes. Bain told police they had retrieved the laptop earlier.

Earlier this week the alleged victim had asked that the charges against the players be dropped.

The team later announced Jennings, Bain and Thomas had been reinstated to the team and would report to training camp beginning on Wednesday.

And that friends is Louisiana State Football Justice.

Seems that crimes do pay, if you are a football player in the SEC and FSU. Go to a SEC school or FSU and you can do anything and walk away without any punishment. Seems that someone posted earlier that the kid from Bluffton would walk away free. Glad we have Dabo.

It's like Floyd Mayweather said. "Unless there's

a video of it, no crime happened." Looks like the SEC uses it as a motto too.

Good thing it doesn't matter to Clemson folks. It's got

nothing to do with us. No reason to care really. Unless a person is anti-sec or obsessed with the sec, it don't mean a thing ??

Now. Go. Tigers. That's. All.

You can sign me up with the anti-SEC crowd

And if you think the SEC hype machine doesn't affect Clemson, you haven't been paying much attention.

If we win them all, it won't matter much. If we crap the bed

In your case you mean...

It's based on Napoleonic Law, not English Common Law***

The great state of Louisiana has its own version of justice:

Aug 2, 2015, 8:26 AM

they call it Ragin' Cajun Wagin'......which requires a pocket full of money, a wink of the eye and a slight tendency toward loose interpretation of the law.

Hence, why so many fine, young men gravitate toward our good friends in Baton Rouge. Par-tay on! lol
