Leading a team that loses $1 million a season, not winning, not recruiting well, making bone headed calls gets you fired 100% of the time. If it doesn't, your boss isn't doing his job and also needs to be fired.
DRad made the right call. I credit him for having the guts to do it. We have too many helicopter fans who like to swoop in, make a ignorant statement, then quickly fly back out.
Nobody with any intelligence can give a good reason to keep Jack other than what he did years ago !
