I'm thinkin' this Droogsma kid may be the most important

recruit on our board... i might take him over Green or Fuller. We've had highly touted RB's and Safety's commit here but haven't ever really had a bigtime OL commit. That kid looks like a beast that could start a trend. We need nasty Offensive lineman and not projects. JK Jay was the last commit that was bigtime.

Are at the top of my list - along with the defensive tackles - Adams and Pagano or Hill.

What we really need is a couple legitimate OTs. Droogsma is

a good-looking OG prospect, but we're really not hurting at OG at all. In fact, we're solid from LG-C-RG. Where we're lacking is at both tackles. In a couple years, Battle and Gore should be beasts, but we'll still need depth at OT. I want to see some 6'7" and 6'8" hulks come our way.

The definition of awesome!

Agreed. We have A LOT of bodies at OG few at OT

I know Brandon Thomas and we were pretty cool. He's not taller than me and is a legitimate 6'4". That's not really tall enough for the LT position. He's much better at OG but you can't put Battle out there against someone like Auburn or FSU, he'll get crushed and then Tajh will get crushed.

We're on the same page. BT was no replacement for Price last season. He's not suddenly grown 3 inches taller. He's clearly a guard playing tackle. It's not his fault he's not built like a tackle, but I'm really worried about him at LT. It concerns me that he's the best option there. Maybe Battle will report in August somewhere close to 290 and, at the very least, push BT.

Even if he does I don't want a FR guarding Tajh's blindside

That's a recipe for utter disaster. Maybe Thomas will do better now that he's not being taught both the OT and OG position but if Battle could come in and play like a Price, with energy, I would feel much better about the left side of the OL
