I'm in favor of renaming any public building...

...named after a politician. They have a way of getting their name on structures paid for by the public.

I would rather structures be named after someone who gave their life defending our country.

Now what do we do about those big donors who make the "down payment" on a building?

If I'm a bid donor, does my personal history need to be vetted out first?

It's complicated.

have a buddy at church who also helped run a school district. his advice was be very careful who you name things after and do it after they are dead. that way the dont do something to make you wish you hadnt chosen them

The Cheyenne and Lakota had a good argument regarding the desecration of their sacred Black Hills. But then the Lakota commissioned the Crazy Horse memorial, so I guess not so sacred.
