So, on the Renfrow TD, 'shouldn't' EVERY Bama defender had grabbed EVERY eligible Clemson Receiver? With only 6 secs on the clock - and even though Clemson gets another down - too much time would have run off the clock and we would have HAD to kick the field goal, thus 'at least' giving Bama 'a shot at winning in OT'.

The one guy took Artavis down - there was no switch planned: the other guy had to run around them, causing Renfrow to be open - it was the perfect play call to account for this strategy. The guy covering Gallman also ran in quickly when he realized Gallman was staying back to block.

I thought that's what happened. Renfrow's defender didn't get the chance. At the end of the day it doesn't matter because DW4 would have run it in anyway. I've played it back many times and there's no way they would have stopped the GOAT!

Reasonable strategy - If they took out all our receivers - likely result DW4 runs in for TD untouched.....
and if not, there was a penalty and we kick field goal and go to OT.
And the BAMA defense was gassed - 99 plays already.
Doesn't matter - We Won. Natty #2 was SWEET. I could have stayed in the stadium ALL NIGHT!

Have 4 BAMA couples going with us.
Saw/talked to all of them during tailgate time at NATTY.
NONE sent me a text of congratulations that night. Conversely I texted all of them for congrats a year ago.
Class comes out. And others hide.
...our minibus will have paws all over it when we head out from San Jose airport Saturday afternoon to Manuel Antonio.
