but, he won't see anything more than a little back up time next year.

From what I gathered, LB is the toughest position to play from a mental standpoint. Venables requires a LOT before you can get on the field. He may be the toughest coach to play for, next to Tony, when it comes to expectations before you get on the field.

Yes, BV has said he will take experience over athletic ability. He has said something like, without the experience, being faster just gets you into the wrong place quicker.
