The Clowney Clause....no academic requirements, make a name for yourself for 2 years then phone it in the third year = easiest path to the NFL.

If a kid had offers from several other schools I don't know why they would choose there. But if they were your only scholarship offer that would be about the only reason why.

sit the bench behind Alabama's other ridiculous players, passionate fan base, it's located in a city/town so there is stuff to do (as opposed to small college town like Clemson, Auburn, VA Tech), and I guess playing for Spurrier was a draw until now. As for Clemson, most of the same applies- it's just different. Small town vs city is the biggest difference to me. I would say both are solid choices football-wise.
