Will be interesting to see the subtle tug-of-war between interests, ideologies, and money as the season approaches.

MSM that has hyped COVID to the nth degree - wants to stay shut down to wreak havoc on economy to help push Trump out and continue to bash Trump on COVID response

vs. ABC/ESPN and other networks (or parts thereof) that want the season to go for financial reasons since they make lots of money from college football

vs. elite university profs & administrators who could care less about football and want to stay shut down to avoid COVID exposure (and get paid the same anyway)

vs. athletic departments and those within the university that know how much of their world depends on football money

vs. democrat governors and democrat run states

vs. republican governors and republican run states

vs. the John Swoffords around the country

Who wins?
