10 bowl slots?
Right now looks like only 8 or so will qualify.
SEC speed.

South Carolina has already made hotel reservations for Jacksonville.
The Gator Bowl will take the Gamecocks at 7-5 or 8-4 in a heartbeat.

Blown out this weekend vs. UGA
Tight win against Florida who is in disarray.
Closer than expected win over Wofford. We have absolutely no pass defense at all. Samford QB lit us up for 457 last week. Bentley is a better QB and will pass for 400 against our horrendous secondary. I have no idea how Wofford is 7-1 on the way to 1 9-2 season.
Lost to Clemson by double digits but keep it close for a half or so
8-4

If Georgia and Bama both make the playoffs then Greenville Tech may be needed to fill a SEC bowl slot.
It will be interesting to see what happens if Dogs and Tide run the table to the SEC title game. If other results play out, will the loser of the SEC title game at 12-1 still be chosen over another 1 loss team ???? (TCU, Big Ten champ,)
I think Clemson wins out, Ohio St with 1 loss or Wisconsin (whichever wins out and takes the Big10) takes the other 2 slots.
Pac 10 is done, no invite to the playoffs this year. Georgia with a loss to Bama goes ahead of a 1 loss Washington team. SC and the rest of the Pac 10 are done with 2 losses.
TCU loses to OK, OK loses to Okie State, Okie loses to OK or TCU in Big 12 title game, All have 2 losses. No Big 12 this year
How do you take Notre Dame with 1 loss ahead of UGA who the Irish lost to at home? Or Miami beats the Irish in Florida and finishes them off.
That would leave Bama (SEC champ) Clemson (ACC champ) (or Miami if they handle the Irish and the ACC title game) UGA (best 1 loss team at 12-1) Wisconsin or Ohio St (Big 10 champ)
OK State Ok TCU all would have 2 loss Notre Dame losses out UGA due to head to head loss Pac 10 out because they are not very good. Washington is the only team with less than 2 losses todya and still play Stanford, Wash St and USC in the title game.
You could make an argument for seedings under this scenario as 1. Bama 2. UGA 3. Tigers 4. Badgers
Going to be interesting.
It just means more

Who then

Who makes then
Alabama 13-0 SEC Champs Clemson 12-1 ACC champs Ohio St 12-1 Big Champs
Georgia 12-1 loss to only Alabama in SEC title game
Notre Dame 10-2 loss to UGA and Miami Washington 11-2 loss to Arizona and USC in Pac 12 game or Wazz St. (everyone else has 2 losses already) TCU 10-2 loss to Iowa St and Okie Oklahoma St loses to Okie this week and goes 10-2, that ends them Okie lost to Iowa St and loses to TCU in a rematch in Big 12 champ and goes 10-2.
Pac 12 and Big 12 champs have 2 losses.
Georgia beat Notre Dame head to head.
UGA goes to the playoff and the world goes crazy.
