If DW has surgery in January, how long is the recovery time?

It seems like Chad Kelly's was pretty quick, but I'm not sure. I guess what I'm asking is, will he miss any early starts?

DW is really a pocket passer that can run if I'm the new OC I install my O with very little designed QB run especially with Gallman,Dye and a Ray Ray type.Let him destroy defenses with his arm because he's too valuable to risk injury.

The offense will not change. Jeff Scott has been studying Morris' offense for years now. Only change will be situational play calling.

I think they should go ahead with the sx. At most he gets 9+ months of recovery time and misses spring and maybe some fall practice as well.
I am not sure what the angle the coaches are playing here. I think if it is Orange Bowl bid they are playing and trying to get some votes for us to be ranked high as possible. Either way, I think he should have surgery ASAP. Maybe they are just saying that to get a better bowl.

In press conference Dabo said probably summer but definitely before the start of the season.
