postpone the State of the Union address, or to deliver it in writing, as opposed to the televised speech.
I think we covered this last year, but I would LOVE if it were an address in writing, as opposed to the political sideshow farce it has become, with the whole room of our nation's leaders acting like five year-olds on national TV.

Seems like the media gets hold of it before the address, normally.
In any case, I think the address is usually fairly predictable, so it should be much trouble to come up with a response, in advance.

to TV cameras at any time...it doesn't have to be in the chamber itself.
So I don't think he'd have to "give up" anything, really. What it would do, which is a positive for me, is it would eliminate this childish thing where half the room cheers every word he says, while the other half sits and pouts.

The more light is shined on the human tragedies that happen because of her and her party's open border policies the more obvious it becomes that her position is a political failure. He will speak, unfiltered and without Pelosi's friends in the media running interference for her.

One way or another he will speak directly to the people. The victims of illegal immigration deserve a voice, even if pelosi and her democrat friends want to pretend they dont exist.
