The season with a road victory? I went back to mid-90s and couldn't find one. Anybody smarter than I am who can please tell me?

True road game?

We opened with a neutral win over Auburn in 2012. I honestly can't remember a true road game win, but we've only opened with a true road game twice that I recall, UGA two years ago and UNC in the 90s where we got blown out.

Texas A&M in the Whitehurst days - I believe we opened in College Station and lost 26-3 or 26-10. We opened with them at home the following year and won. Was an awesome game - crowd was great and it was James Davis first game - as I recall he had around 120 yards. Think we also kicked 5 or 6 FG's that night.

And we squeaked that win out on a "do-over" FG by

some true freshman named David Treadwell.

He'd blown the first chip shot but got a second chance because of a penalty.
