Plenty of basketball to be played yet, but 8 games into the

conference season, to be 6-2 with wins over ranked Louisville, Duke and Miami, a very good Pitt team, FSU and on the road against Cuse...with our only losses being on the road against #2 UNC and #11 UVA...and with six of our remaining ten games against the bottom four teams in conference standings...
Who knows how it will play out but the team and coaches sure have put Clemson in a position to have a rock-solid ACC season.

Yep we need to keep winning though. Some of the early season clunkers really weigh us down

include some pretty high profile wins.We hold the tiebreaker over a lot of higher ranked schools.
It would depend on who those 4 losses were to.

already beaten UL, Duke, Miami, and Pitt, and we still have two more chances for good wins against ND and UVA at home. I think our early OOC struggles will get overlooked a little and the focus will be more on how this team has played since.

really good wins recently that will give us an extra boost, but i really don't think 11-7 would be enough considering our bad OOC losses and 7-5 OOC record. 11-7 would also mean 5-5 down the stretch and would likely include 2-3 losses against teams that are currently sitting at the bottom of the league (BC, Wake, State, GT).
We need to take care of GT and BC at home, we need to win a few road games, and we could really use another good win against either ND or UVA at home (both would be awesome).

Clemson has to win 2 of 3. Wake is the closest to a gimme. Va. Tech will be a tough place to win.
That means FSU must be beaten on Saturday.

Because ND and Virginia at home are not guaranteed wins.

And 3 of the last 4 games are on the road. Clemson needs 6 more wins. I don't see the Tigers sweeping Ga. Tech, BC, NC State, and Wake.
