Tell me the good and bad stuff about it. You can leave out Lee's inlet Kitchen and the lack of a Red Lobster.

There's a submerged sandbar on the outside of the markers where the inlet turns back into the creek to head towards the riverwalk. It's fun to sit at Marlin Quay or on my friends dock and watch tourists in rental boats hit it at low tide.

You strike me as a river person, anyway. Your 14' jon boat ain't gonna make it where I like to go.

It's only an hour from my in laws house though, so we've been thinking hard about taking the boat down. Just would hate for it to end up like our Jocassee trip, and 1.5 hours later we're like w tf do we do now?

Our friends might be moving up that direction, and the houses are actually pretty cheap..comparatively. I could cash this place out and pay for one there..which would be nice. I dunno..early phases of just talking about it.

its amazing that 1)I wasn't eaten by alligators, and 2) I didn't die from some river amoeba, or 3) contract some weird skin disease from that nasty fresh water

don't care if you walk on it drinking a beverage from one of the restaurants.
River City Cafe is not on the boardwalk but has killer burgers and sandwiches. The blackened grouper reuben. Go big or go home.
Lee's Inlet Kitchen is not on the boardwalk. It's extremely old school and very good.

If you murder someone at Murrells Inlet, then you're locked up down at the beach....so there's that.

Yep. I used to go there a lot when it was just a deck and gazebo. We’d eat at Russell’s and walk to HFC for the night.
