I think Les Miles is almost the antithesis of what GT fans

want in a HC.

Les is more heart than head. More of a soldier than an officer. He loves his players and he coaches with passion. What he is not is an intellectual "thinker" Xs and Os genius that PJ is perceived (by most) to be. Also, a lot of their alumni carry around this academic superiority complex thing (to be fair, it's an excellent engineering school, a notch above most if we are being fair). They LOVE that PJ runs the unique triple option offense and his a "heady" coach. It just plays perfectly into the the psyche of their fanbase.
