I think I am going to be dis-owned by friends and family

got two weddings on game day (FSU and Charlotte), a couples shower the day of TAM.
Wife is - people don't look at football when they schedule their events.
I am - fine. I am going to the games.
getting tense around here.
My son got married in March like a good boy.

Yep, it was a spring wedding for Ayejoe and the bride.
I have no qualms about not attending a scheduled event that is set for during football season.
One buddy that did get married during the season made it widely known that there would be a large screen projection playing football games, including the Clemson game, during the the entire wedding/reception minus the actual 10 minute or so ceremony.

Children are indoctrinated at a young age to expect that nobody with tickets shows up at events scheduled during football season. I guess you can't really control what friends will do, but hey...I can always make more.

'couples shower' where men were expected to attend, on top of having a wedding during football season, I think I'd just consider them out of my life and move on. Weddings and everything surrounding them are completely out of control.
