I grew up a Los Angeles Raiders fan. Anyway. i am glad they are in Vegas over Oakland. Those games will be rocking, but. i bet half of the fans will probably fly in for the weekend. Anyway, just glad those Clemson guys will have a nicer place to play, better facilities, cheaper housing, and no state income tax.

60s and Kenny "The Snake" Stabler was their QB.

There's no excuse that they're not still in Oakland. If a way could have been found to build a new stadium to replace the dump they were in they still would be there.

I did too....that was my team back then.....really don’t care much about professional football anymore in my older days......as long as we have Clemson football really don’t need anything else......Go Tigers!!!!

I agree from a nostalgia perspective.

But in reality, Oakland is generally a dump of a city. Not that Vegas is perfect, but a better place to live that Oakland IMO.

It's certainly easier to find cheap flights into Vegas.

Vegas is actually a great place to live

Tons of cheap housing with a growing suburban area in good weather. It’s plenty big enough to stay away from the strip, there’s a large LV local community. But you can also Enjoy the world class cuisine and entertainment in your backyard if you don’t mind the strip.

I'm with you. Vegas is a great place to catch a game. Oakland is an absolute dump.

The Raiders played on a baseball field , the city of Oakland didn't want a new stadium smh. So i have been OAK/LA/OAK now LV RAIDERS TILL I DIE!! Hate they left , new players, new era , new stadium. Time for a change.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Me too, but stadium sucked...and Oakland would not

Apr 25, 2020, 2:19 PM

build another. It was also a baseball stadium.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't give a plug nickle about the city, the facilities,

Apr 25, 2020, 4:51 PM

Isn't Oakland kinda icky? LasVegas will make for some fun trips for those of you able to make those trips!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes, Oakland is a crap hole.

High crime and significant poverty, even by California standards.
