I still think mistakes played a huge role in the outcome.

Missed easy field goal. Atrocious coverage on a kickoff. That's 10 points that would have changed ours and UGA's playcalling in the 2nd half. No telling what difference the dropped passes made. We still probably get beat, but it would have been much closer.

Similar to the way we played against the Gamecocks, imo. Too many mistakes, momentum shifts dramatically. We get scared and can't recover.

when we had bad field position. I understand not taking risks with a inexperienced QB, deep in your own territory, but at some point I feel like you have to see the flow of the game and take risks.
I think we will improve. We have a young offense. It will get better.

Agree. It will get better and I believe we showed enough bright spots early that 10-2 is not out of the realm of possibility.

At the time Georgia's O was struggling and if we go score there and again on the next drive we build a 2 possession lead. If we go up by 2 scores I think they start trying to pass more and that would have helped out our D tremendously.

The stat of the game is 1 first downs in the first 5 drives of the second half, and not much more after that.
had we at least been able to string a couple of drives to together in the 3rd quarter, even if we came up empty handed. this game could have been a lot closer.
having said that, Georgia was clearly the better team, specially when consider our deficiencies on offense.

As they did, too SC and FSU last year. It has become a pattern that we don't overcome mistakes , they just compound.

it comes down to our oline getting abused and not being able to put drives together against better defenses.
