I am glad at least to know that as a grown man the prom doesn't mean much to you. that part is a relief anyway. but to many YOUNG high school KIDS the prom is something they get to experience once or twice, and it is and should be important.

to us this thing is WAY OVERRATED but to the kids it is a once or twice in their lives thing! I certainly agree that it cost way too much but that is how some parents want to spend their $$$ so that is their business..this entire problem came up with that principal not knowing about baseball.. the district Super should have stepped in and made the change requested.ther are MANY double headers every year and to think that players could not play on 2 nights back-to-back ios stupid

Put it this way I'm a senior in high school, been to two proms and me and my girlfriend of three years both decided it wasn't worth the money, we probably spent a combined $1400 last year and only stayed at the actual prom for about 20 mins last year it was so bad. Trust me the guys got back for the after prom stuff they actually cared about going to lol

Nation Ford made it back through the losers bracket and lost the second game of a double header to TL Hanna tonight...Karma almost made a showing.
in an interesting twist, TL Hanna now plays at Fort Mill on Saturday (Nation Ford is the other high school in Fort Mill). TL Hanna's prom is this Saturday.....and Fort Mil has offered to move the game back to 2 pm so the players can make it back for prom...props to them for doing the right thing.
