We play the coots as last regular season game. I know this is a pipe dream, but if they could only lose 1 or 2 games and be highly ranked it would just mean more to me when we spanked that butt.

I don't pull for them in anything. I had a coot ask me recently if I pulled for the coots when we are not playing each other and I quickly said "NO". She asked why and I said ya'll don't pull for us. She said she and her husband do and I said they were some of the few that do.

I get where you are coming from but tbh idk if I could deal with all the Coots during the season leading up to the Clemson carolina game if they were say 10-1 going into our game with them ??

Too expensive to pull for coots. coots have to be fans of coots, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi St, Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas AM, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Pitt, Miami, Fla St, NC State, UN Cheat, Wake Forest, Virginia, Va Tech, Boston College, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Wofford, Kent State, Ga Tech, Troy, Tulane, SC State, Citadel, LSU, Louisville, Kentucky and anybody else that shows up on Clemson’s schedule. That’s a lot of hats and tee shirts to buy. There’s also the little issue of walking around with a chicken on your hat.....everybody laughs as you pass by. So uhhhhhhhhh, No.

I wish they were undefeated when we play them. Would love to crush their dreams. Most Tiger fans want them to lose every game but I am with you. It would make the game bigger to both be top 5 or 10. I also see no reason to pull against them when they are from our state and are playing other teams I do not care about.

but it has stirred up some conversation. There is a case to be made for SCar not being such a drag on Clemson's strength of schedule. However, if they went 11-0 prior to the Clemson game and still got blown out by the Tigers, they would still claim they play in a tougher conference. They always find some excuse to crow about.
Remember, SCar was putting up vicariously-won SEC championship banners long before UCF ever declared themselves National Champions.
