Not sure who he knows over there, but he's absolutely horrible and causes me to change the station twice per day. Love Mickey and Roy but all this guy does is contradict and talk down to the actual show hosts.

but you're right. Never forget when he made fun of Mickey for using a word he should have known in the 7th grade but thought it wasn't even a word. Very arrogant. And ignorant. Not a good combination.

I have to disagree, I think he is entertaining as long as you don't take it too seriously. Zack is a big step up from Thomas, he never had an opinion on anything, just hedged his comments to both sides.

I stopped listening years ago.
But when you make your career hating the best player in basketball and calling him a losing player. Then that player goes on to win 3+ titles and make you look like a fool, isn't that time to hang up the microphone?

Not only is Zack a little over opinionated, his knowledge of sports spans like 5 years. I know he is young, but I'm 30 and can atleast recollect the early 2000s and lahe 90s.

Is that a bad thing tho? They are discussing current sports events, not historical ones. Nobody turns on the radio to hear what happened 5 years ago.

Yes. I often reference the past wheb talking sports, esp during comparisons. Also my knowledge of many sports is a direct result of my time spent watching them. His sports knowledge seems to be in sports that no one in this area cares about, like hockey.

But the general public doesn't want to hear about the history of sports. They want to hear about what is going on right now. Zach knows enough about the major historical events to have a conversation.
You hate him because he likes hockey? He also loves golf and MLB and Clemson football and NFL and Clemson baseball.... him liking hockey has actually gotten me to watch a hockey game. So I count that as a good thing.

Zach is my second favorite part of all of WCCP to only Mickey himself. I've listened for about 6 years now and listen every single morning. Zach is great.

He is arrogant without being rude. He brings Mickey back down to earth when he makes ridiculous claims. He is not supposed to be full of energy and a sunshine pumper. That is Mickey's job. Zach is supposed to oppose him to create conversation and he does it well. I also just think he is funny and loves how much he lays into the Coots.
You have to understand he's only been doing this for less than a year... he still has a lot to learn. But for a guy his age, he is doing great.

of WCCP I read on here. I'm just glad I can turn on the radio and hear local people discussing Clemson sports almost any time of the day. I much, much prefer the guys we have here to any of the slick blowhards I hear on nationally syndicated broadcasts.

Zach is just a dry humor guy.... and if he was as condescending as you claim you wouldn't hear the great (and entertaining) back and forth between he and the host.
