My fat ### has outgrown my dress slacks. Where can I get a good quality pair of pants, or ones that can be altered before Monday?

I suggest Walmart, even.
Now shirts, sports coats, and suits... that’s.. a different story.

Call your pilot, have him warm up the plane immediately.
With a favorable jet stream you can be at Biggin Hill airport by tomorrow morning.
Have your man on the ground pick you up and take you immediately to my tailor Geoffrey Worthington, he’s on the southerly end of Savile Row. Usually he has at least a 4 month appointment window, but if I put in a word for you, he shall have you in a dapper pair of new trousers post-haste.

Get them today and he can probably get them done tomorrow. It will cost some $$ though.

Jackie's Alterations Irmo location. Should have clarified.

Go to Harbison and Dillard's. Then Jackie's in Irmo is closest and they do the rush jobs there. On St Andrew's in Irmo not far from Columbiana.
He's saved my rear more than once.

Belk.

/thread
Belk stores are doing their winter clearance right now and the racks )especially men's dress pants/sport coats/suits) are all &5-80% off. The deals right now are ridiculous....better prices than Walmart, TJ Maxx, or any discount store for top shelf quality clothing. I was at the RH a couple of weeks ago and picked up a nice button down shirt for $9.00. I rode to the mall in Pineville with Joonyer last night and we cut through Belk there, ended up with an orange quarter zip sweater that I'm wearing RIGHT NOW for $7.00.

I imagine now they just supply you with a free translator when you come in through a main entrance?

Tiggity mentioned Dillard’s. That’s where I get pants.

I’m hard to fit, as well. At least that’s what all the ladies say. Ha ha ha ha!
Now, back to reality. Dillard’s, at least from places I’ve shopped, has by far the widest selection of sizes. I was quite impressed the first time I went there. Haven’t gone anywhere else since. They have a yuge pants section. I’d try there. You may not even need alterations... depending on your fatassedness. Godspeed.

The 28 inch inseam kills me.

Only when I weigh 170 or less can I find something that fits off the rack. 10yo has the exact same problem. If it fits in the waist, it's too long. If it's the right length, too tight in the waist. Being fat with short legs sucks.
