...an independent lab to at least verify to make sure the ncaa lab didn't screw up.

I recall my botched blood test that said my iron levels were 10,000+ times higher than normal only to find out that another lab showed the first lab effed up. I do not eat nails for breakfast...the first conclusion.

first time i had my blood type done,i was told i was o-negative.turns out i'm a-neg.tests aren't always 100% correct.

I was smoker, when I'd never smoked in my life and no one in my family did. People can screw drugs tests up just like they can screw up your order at a restaurant. That's what people do.

If it turns out to be positive again then I'm fine with the penalty as long as they test every player on every CFB team instead of just Cherry Picking a few.
