Spud has got it down! He has figured out some kind of secret that makes Mrs, Spud think he's really doing a lot of real estate work, and all the while he is playing "hooky" on the lake. She's not even a blonde. Who, ever, would have thunk it? When I grow up, I wanna be like Spud.

You are the epitome of encouragement, my friend. I was just now telling my wife, Broomhilda, about our conversation, and I vow to, very soon, put my ### boards (how I raise the water level in the lake) back in place and raise the level of the pond it now is back up to full pool and back to the lake it was, and start fishing again. I need to get the kayak you helped me find out and start using it as it was intended to be used.
And to think, I thought retirement was going to be so fun. I need to go back to work, so I can get time to fish and play golf, like I used to be able to do when I was working. By the way, I am going quail hunting again tomorrow, so it ain't all bad.
