..."good riddance" to Jack Leggett. Nothing personal against JL but let's look at the results. 20 something years of frittering away an inheritance drip by drip. It just took that long for his ineptitude to finally surface.
The guy is a multi-millionare because of Clemson and multi-millionaire in a sport that doesn't make a dime for our university.
Also, I read his response and counted the number of times he used the word "loyalty"/"loyal". Let me tell you that if you don't think those were back-handed jabs implying that DRad showed no loyalty by firing him than you are naive.
Leggett had plenty of time to right the ship or bow out gracefully to let a new set of eyes look at the problem.
Screw Jack Leggett and the horse he rode in on. The guy made tons of money and never win a CWS after letting USUCjr humiliate us. Glad the arrogant a$$h0le is gone.

You obviously don't know much about the man. We live in a sad age where faceless nobodies can take public jabs at really awesome people.

You seem to have trouble expressing yourself.....don't be shy, say what you really mean.

at ####### up a good baseball program. I could have ###### it up in two days. Next time we get a good baseball program I hope we find someone capable of ####### it up a lot quicker than Jack. I can't imagine why we took so long to get rid of him.

I'm really better than that.

My 9-10 yr olds cried all the time wanting to play out of position. The little turds didn't know how to throw the ball using their hips as the primary source of power when I got them. After teaching them the fundamentals of throwing, covering a line drive, grounder, fly ball and what to do with the ball if it happened to land in their glove from their defensive position they began to whine about playing another position.
Late in the season we'd lost only one game and were scheduled to play a team which had a roster full of good kids and a coach who knew less about baseball fundamentals than a monkey...they hadn't won a game all year.
I put the my kids where they wanted to play and wore ear plugs so I couldn't hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from our parent's sections.
After the game I put my boys in center field and told the parent I threw the game because I had big money on it in Vegas. Actually, I just asked them if they noticed the joy of the little boys on the other team and pointed out that probably kept them from having a win less season and adjusted our kid's attitude toward putting their wants above the good of our team.
It took me a grand total of five minutes and a passion for child rearing to make the decision.

Seems more like something a current yankee would post. I guess you can't escape a lack of class even if you move south.

As a southerner, I'm disgusted by the redneck comments in this thread.

Who cares if the OP is a yankee or ex-yankee? There are plenty of great people from the north, and plenty of idiots too. The same can be said of the south and everywhere else.
The Civil War ended in 1865.

Since that is how the OP identifies himself

I believe he has opened himself up to that line of questioning. Personally, I just think he's stupid, and the exyankee thing is just a way to get a dig in at him, since he appears to be sensitive about the situation. In fact, since he identifies himself as an "ex-Yankee" isn't he just as guilty of yankee bashing as anyone else?
